Corresponding to our church’s vision for “Reconciliation through Christ”, the music committee holds up the following activity targets.
Last year, we had several praise time with the theme "why we praise".
In this year, we want to praise on this same theme.
In JAUC, we have many different members, such as Japanese, American,
Korean and etc. and also for a broad age group. Therefore, "praise
beyond age and nationality" is our target. Maybe, Aged person love
familiar music. But, especially a young generation members may like
more rhythmical bright music. We want to take in such a broad demand
as much as possible in the music committee. And we wish to try hard
for our praise to become the offering , God truly please.
To put it concretely, we’d like to have following yearly schedule:
Visiting to Isabella Geriatric Center, Caroling to some sister and brother
who can’t join worship and we’d like to add more members
for caroling in front of our church in Christmas Eve which was popularity
last year.
A choir takes the lead in praise of weekly worship in cooperation with
SAF, Fujinkai, etc. Moreover, for special weeks, such as Lent, Easter,
and Christmas, we wish to sing big music.
We pray the music committee is greatly used by God in this year too!
